my approach

I work collaboratively with clients as I provide empathy, understanding, warmth, accountability and a bit of humor to each session. My sessions integrate my training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

This type of therapy is proven to be helpful for my clients for its structured and goal -oriented approach. In session, clients and I dive deep as to what thought and behavioral patterns are negative influencing and likely fueling their anxiety and stress. From there, we develop practical action plans that help restore their inner and outer calm.

Clients can also expect a service that is individually tailored beyond the principles of CBT. That is why I integrate strength-based, mindful, and culturally sensitive elements when appropriate. In doing so, I believe my clients gain meaningful insights, practical feedback, and build on their own strengths as they face their personal challenges.

who I serve

  • women

I offer women support to help them better manage their anxiety due to life transitions, family conflict, work-related stress, and trauma. I am also passionate about helping women reclaim their confidence and assertiveness skills.

Therapy has also been a useful tool for me to come to grips with my own personal losses and transitions.

  • Mothers

More often than not behind every child client I have served lies an anxious mom. A mom on the verge of burnout who perhaps has lost herself in caring for everyone else.

As a mom of two, I understand and can provide you with an empathetic space that assures you that you are not alone.

  • Therapists in Training

As a licensed therapist, I provide the required personal therapy that therapists in training are often required to complete. These clients commonly broaden their self-awareness, and emotional resilience of their own pain points, which is essential as they enter the therapeutic field professionally.

Your self-care as an up and coming therapist is essential and I'm here to help.
